Three lenses, one skill set
My primary lane. I completed a Data Analyst internship at Bluestock Fintech, where I built ETL pipelines and dashboards used for investment reporting — extracting, cleaning, and validating financial datasets, then turning them into Power BI dashboards and statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing, Monte Carlo simulation) that stakeholders actually used. I'm most comfortable in Python + SQL + Power BI/Tableau, and I lean toward answering "why" a metric moved, not just reporting that it did.
I've also built and shipped full-stack applications. During a Python Full Stack Development internship at Datavalley India, I designed and tested backend features and RESTful APIs with Flask, Django, and MySQL, and deployed applications on AWS. My projects go past notebooks — REST APIs with job queues, concurrency, and test suites, not just one-off scripts.
The direction I'm building toward. My strongest projects already lean this way — a 12-table SQLite star schema serving a FastAPI + Streamlit stack, scheduled ETL jobs, a SQLite-backed job queue with three concurrency modes. I'm working on Microsoft Fabric/Azure and deepening data modeling and pipeline orchestration to move from "analyst who scripts ETL" to "engineer who owns the pipeline."

A production-grade financial intelligence system analyzing all 92 Nifty 100 index companies. Converts raw Excel financial data into a queryable SQLite database (12 tables) with 50+ computed KPIs, an investment screener with 6 presets, composite financial health scoring, sector analytics, PDF tearsheets, and a FastAPI REST API — plus KMeans clustering and NLP-generated pros/cons summaries.
Built during the Bluestock Fintech internship. End-to-end mutual fund analytics on real AMFI/mfapi.in data — ETL into a SQLite star schema, a 4-page Power BI dashboard, Monte Carlo NAV projection (Geometric Brownian Motion), Markowitz Efficient Frontier portfolio optimization, and an automated weekly HTML email report.
A Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) solver — nearest-neighbor construction plus 2-opt local search, with an exact MILP solver included to show concretely where "optimal" stops being feasible. Exposed as a Flask REST API with a SQLite-backed job queue supporting sequential, parallel (ProcessPoolExecutor), and distributed (master/worker) execution modes, plus a Streamlit UI on top.
Retail sales forecasting web app using XGBoost regression — predicts product sales from product and outlet characteristics through an industry-style Streamlit dashboard, with both manual entry and CSV batch prediction, auto-categorized into Low / Medium / High sales bands.
An interactive Power BI dashboard on the Sample Superstore dataset — sales performance, top products, regional and segment-wise profitability, and order trends over time, with custom DAX measures for profit margin and distinct order counts.
